[long long post ahead lor.its not often i update nowdays anyway ;)]

I took this post from my blog so......yeah. ;) The point of view is written in such a way.

Anyway.......last week hor me and my classmates went to Zoo Negara. ;)

Reason: Cuz we are learning this biodiversity and conservation chapter.

Wanna have a hands-on experince and to see how does the zoo function in helping maintain the biodiversity! :D

(Gosh do you know how it feels to want to blog about something so long ago and you have to crack your brain to rmb it?)

So we meet in front of Taylors at 6.45 am. Then we left at 7 a.m sharp.




Ahh before we left some "ong" thing happened. Lol. Esther Jara stepped on cat shit!

Belum sampai zoo sudah step poop. xD

I am a Zoo Negara volunteer leh!!!

So we went in, passed by the canteen for humans, and then the zoo kitchen for the animals (smelling of vege and lik baja) and pass by the Zoo Hospital.

First animal we saw was the fatty hippo. ;)

Actually this flower was exposed to too much light so...turned out like this. ;)

We went to the bear cage. Behind it where ppl can't see from the viewing area.



We were divided into groups of 3.

Some of us were assigned to clean those dead leaves and branches on the roof of the cage.



Me included. The rest went to the deer cage and some place lah. xD





We are happy ppl cleaning the smelly roof. xD

Ok the roof doesn't smell but when you go near those vent hor the fumes from the cage down there...

FU YOH! Smell damn nice wan lor! HEH.

Then since we finished earlier then the rest, the zookeeper or caretaker asked us to clean inside the viewing area where bears can roam.

Of course the bear still in the cage la! Hahaa.

So what did we do?

We were cleaning the home of this bear.

Then I handed over the cam to Su Ting so that their group can take photos. Meanwhile I used my phone to take pics of the otter's place we were cleaning then. ;)

We had time to walk around so yeah that's what we did.

That's all for our volunteer work.

It's more fun then it sounds as we're doing volunteer job and playing a part in maintaining biodiversity. My goodness I sound so Bio-ish. =p
